• Minimal supervision.  This doesn't mean you won't get training.  We know the value of proper training, but once you know what you're doing, we leave you to do it.  If you're a pro, we'll treat you like one.  If you're not a pro, you probably shouldn't work here. 

Here are the things we can't offer:

• Flexibility on time.  We're a 24/7 operation and we count on you to man the data center when your shift is on.  We need you to show up on time and to cover your shift diligently.  We can't accommodate sudden absences.
• Statutory holidays.  We are a 24/7 operation and we cover the data center regardless of whether it's a holiday or not.  We do offer flex days to make up for the statutory holidays you miss, though.  In real terms, this means you need to be prepared to work either Christmas or New Year, and possibly Boxing Day.
• High levels of supervision.  You need to be able to fix problems without endlessly turning to someone else.  Obviously nobody can fix every problem, but we need people who can overcome most of the challenges they encounter without drama and without the need to announce it to everyone.  If your way of fixing a problem is to ask your supervisor how every time, you probably shouldn't work here.
