 eSecureData.com Support

eSecureData.com prides itself on fast, efficient technical support.  It is important to understand our mission, though.

We are not your standard dedicated server company.  We tailor our service to expert users who can manage their servers themselves.  We provide 24/7 support for reboots, hardware and infrastructure, but clients must manage their servers themselves.  As a result, expert users need not pay for support they don't need.

This fits some users perfectly who can then benefit from low prices and excellent infrastructure, but others are better off with providers who offer higher levels of support in configuring and maintaining servers.

If your technical skills (or those of your staff) have you in a position where you don't require a lot of handholding, the eSecureData.com business model may be perfect for you.  If not, you might want to consider contacting one of the consultants in our directory of professionals familiar with eSecureData.com servers.  Please note these consultants do not work for eSecureData.com and we are not responsible for them in any way.

Here are some examples of the things we do support.

  • Reboots

  • Reinstall OS ($50 fee)

  • Reverse DNS entries

  • Outbound recursive DNS

  • Hardware Failures

  • Short-term KVM/IP

Here are some examples of the things we do not support.

  • Install software

  • Install some custom hardware you send us

  • Authoritative DNS for your domain (your server can do this)

  • Provide a control panel (you are free to procure and install any control panel you like)

  • Figure out why your domain isn't working

  • Any software issues, including OS issues

The support department can be reached 24/7/365 at support@esecuredata.com.  You may also phone us at 800-620-1985 ext 4, but please note that email is strongly preferred and gets priority treatment over phone calls.
