As most Ubuntu users are aware, Unity can be a pain. The lack of personalization options on a Linux product has caused quite an uproar amongst the community.

There is an alternative to Unity. It's called MyUnity. For those that are still using KDE or GNOME, it won't solve all the problems and make you love Unity, but supposedly it is an improvement.

I have not tried it yet, but I will be soon.

So I gave MyUnity a try, and it doesn't really do too much. There are a few blurring options and resizing settings, but besides that, it doesn't do meet my expectations.

is it worth getting? Not really. If you are already using Unity, then go ahead. It won't harm anything, but keep your expectations low.
